Starting in the early 1960s Lewis Leathers sold tuning parts and accessories for the Ton-up Boy who wanted his machine to standout and go faster than the rest. Apart from single seats, racing fairings and megaphone exhausts, highly stylised waterslide and (later) vinyl stickers were available in unique designs that were used to decorate tanks, helmets and even jackets (although we don't recommend this usage).

The maker was Slick Transfers / Slik Stikkas, who still held the original artworks seen here – but are now exclusive to Lewis Leathers. These are the graphics used on period helmets in the Lewis Leathers Archive and can be seen in Sydney J. Furie's 1964 classic The Leather Boys.
